Not I, nor anyone else can travel that road for you.
You must travel it by yourself.
It is not far. It is within reach.
Perhaps you have been on it since you were born, and did not know.
Perhaps it is everywhere—on water and land.

Hank, I like your new friend! Although he/she looks embarrassed by the escargot. Was it trying to escape from the first course? Or was it a snail-racing party?

Isn’t that nuts? Hank and friends were enjoying a lovely evening of fine food and backyard chit-chat and lo and behold, looked down at Mr. X’s shoe and there he/she was – heading up X’s leg to get a better perch! Only in Seattle. Our snails are fast. Escargot was not on the menu, but it’s possible this little Helix aspersa was on the run from dinner elsewhere or from someone contemplating skin cream.

Hank – I love the diversity of your guests. Just think – hard shell and gooey body – how fantastic

There’s a really good joke in there somewhere (a snail, a dog and a theoretical astrophysicist walk into a yard and…) but I haven’t worked it out yet.
